Danael Broussard, one of our dads here on the site, and his son Samuel lost everything except the their car and the clothes on their back last night in a devastating fire. The Advocate is reporting on a survey from the Williams Institute that California has more than 50,000 gay parents - making it the largest population of gay parents in the country (not really a big surprise, mind you).
That breaks down to about 21% of gay couples raising children - or one in five!

The service we use to maintain this website (Ning) has upgraded just about everything about the way the site works and there are some changes that have to be made to keep up with those improvements.
